What a difference a year makes

Today I found my most favorite gymboree dress ever. A layette dress from By the Seashore. I originally bought it last year and Sophie used it as a dress. This year however, I pulled it out from the very back of the closet and we used it as a tunic with some gap leggings. I still totally swoon over it on her! Old pics are from June 08 new pics taken today.

1st day of Preschool!!

Today my baby girl started school. She is going 1/2 a day 2 times a week. She is so smart and just amazing. I am so excited for her and this new phase of her life. We were joking with her that she only has 25 years of school left.

Drop-off went as well as could be expected! Sophie hid behind my leg and I had to pry her off. Luckily the kids were playing legos and Sophie followed Miss Stephanie to the tables and started playing. She is going to have so much fun! I'm so proud of her!

Another fall fashion show!

Gap has been having some awesome sales right now! Buy 1 Get 1 Free on all tops! What a great deal and with our tax free weekend on top of that!!! AWESOME!

I waited so long to get this top! Now we finally have it and I love it so much!

This was a last minute purchase (the sa was checking me out and I ran over and got one for us). So glad we got it!

This outfit is by far my favorite. I'm going to get her some big brown boots to go with it! Could it be any cuter???

YAY The raccoon shirt got a matching skirt! Sophie loved this, she was just ready to be done with the fashion show. She making that face because I gave her a piece of gum as a reward for her nice work!

I bought this top that we don't really need because of the b1g1 deal. It's cute and I really like it under the sweater (see below)

Playing around in some Matilda Jane

So, I don't know why, but I had been holding onto this dress. I didn't think it was Sophie's style and I was unsure about the straps maybe? I was soooo wrong. I put it on her today when some friends came by to visit our new puppy and Sophie just looked amazing in it! Luckily, the lighting was pretty good and I got some cute shots! The dress is by Matilda Jane I believe it was part of the Westside collection. It's the only MJ piece we own... for now...
